Miller Nash IMPA Seminar

On September 24th, 2008, Streamline Imaging attended a Continuing Legal Education Seminar at Miller Nash, LLP of Portland, Oregon. The seminar was hosted by IMPA and focused on practical ethics in the legal workplace today. Streamline was able to have a table at the seminar and had a drawing for Starbucks cards and a free hour of Summation training. The seminar itself was very informative and insightful as Streamline desires to continue growing in knowledge as the legal industry rapidly develops and changes. Streamline Imaging feels it is important to stay abreast of ethical issues to help enhance its role as a support vendor.

Streamline sponsors Women in eDiscovery Luncheon

On September 16th, 2008, Streamline Imaging, LLC sponsored the monthly luncheon for the local chapter of Women in eDiscovery. Streamline provided delicious brown bag lunches from Paradise Bakery as well as beverages. The monthly meeting featured Mikael Coppola, Paralegal, at Klarquist Sparkman, LLP and Kate Billera, Project Manager for Fios, Inc. Mikael and Kate addressed the "Best Practices for Processing Evidence for eDiscovery and how to avoid the 'gotchas' during the process". Both spoke heavily on the importance of efficient and effective project management, a topic Streamline Imaging feels to be of great importance to the success of thier business and the security of their clients.
